Rebecca Jewellery is a new addition to our ranges at Robert Adair Jewellers in Ballymena. We are delighted to now offer Rebecca Jewellery from our Ballymena shop. The range is made in Italy and we absolutely love the quality and the price range!
Rebecca is a top-of-the-range brand of jewellery produced and distributed by Industrie Testi Spa, an Italian company with headquarters in Florence, in the heart of Tuscany. The company was founded in 2000 by Alessandro Testi, chairman and designer who creates fashion accessories with a strong personality and an extremely high design content. 100% made in Italy.
Their Jewellery is innovative and, Testi, the founder was one of the first designers to use so called ‘poor’ materials to make jewellery. The key to their beautiful products was using metals such as bronze and steel and using top quality workmanship and techniques to fashion them into incredible, wearable pieces of jewellery.

Recently our staff members Hannah Fleck and Diane McClean completed their Jet 1 Training. The JET training programme offers the jewellery industry’s most prestigious professional development courses. They give our jewellery staff a solid jewellery knowledge, confidence and training that they can they bring to their workplace. Hannah and Diane have benefitted from the training and we want to give them a big congratulations for earning their qualifications – they earned it.
Our staff are hard working and friendly and we, as a family run business, believe that this is one of the things that gives us an edge over our competitors. We have the knowledge and the qualifications to back it up.
Stuart Adair has a diploma in Horology (3 years), diamond grading qualifications and a diploma in Jewellery from the National Association of Jewellers and knows how worthwhile is is to invest in educating the Robert Adair Jewellers staff members.

Robert Adair Jewellers are equipped to refurbish your white gold jewellery. The Jewellers based in Ballymena have a busy workshop where the onsite jeweller can make sure that your jewellery is looking like new.
Refurbishing White Gold Rings
Refurbishing White Gold Rings involves polishing the item to a high finish and then applying a rhodium plating. This gives it that lovely bright white finish that you would get when the ring is brand new.
White Gold jewellery is really popular, especially for wedding bands and engagement rings. The metal looks beautiful when paired with diamonds and compliments your existing jewellery collection if your skin tone matches silver better than traditional gold. Sometimes we forget that our engagement and wedding rings go through an awful lot. We meet people who never take their off meaning it gets taken everywhere, scrubbed when folks are washing their hands and very little tlc. While soaking you ring in soapy water (nothing too aggressive) and a quick rub with a soft toothbrush will clean off any visible dirt it will not bring back that “good as new” shine that you really would like. The only option is Rhodium Plating.
White gold by its nature cannot be “bright white” because, pure gold is not white, it is yellow of course! Even with white metal alloys mixed with gold the resulting metal still has a yellowish tinge. This is what the rhodium plating can covers.
